Compression Adjustment Guide Sheet

What: Instruction on how to make Compression Adjustments. Prior to this adjustment, ensure you have already obtained uniform distributions for both the Inner & Outer Walls.

When: Anytime the combined wall thickness (compression value) varies more than 20% of the target value, the pipe bows, valley delamination occurs, ‘rollup’ appears on one side of the pipe, or if the cuff begins to fail ‘laying-in’ appropriately on one side of the bell.

Why Use: To manufacture the highest performing quality pipe product.
