Power or Mechanical Failure

PPE to be used: Safety glasses and leather work boots are to be used whenever you are on the floor.

The following procedures apply when during the pipe forming process, a power or mechanical failure occurs and/or the Emergency Stop (E-Stop) button has been engaged. Steps 1 through 3 only apply if the E-Stop has been engaged. Employee health and safety will be priority when dealing with any emergency.

If shutdown occurred and line has been down for more then 10 minutes, then skip this procedure and use procedure: Pipe Removal With Hot Knifes
