Turn thermolator down to 70 degrees. Wait 5 minutes before going to step 2. (This will keep you from getting burned by hot water) (Picture 1.1)

Turn thermolator off and then all associated water inlet and outlet ball valves, drain water lines using the bleed ball valves. (This will release the water pressure down into pit) (Picture 1.2)

Remove all plumbing from cool plug and place in a safe space so as not to bend the piping (Picture 1.3)

Place two straps on cool plug, with the straps gapped so the cool plug doesn’t fall forward or backwards out of the straps. (Picture 1.4)

Remove all bolts from inside of cool plug, then pull cool plug off.
Place cool plug in designated storage box with straps.
