Attach strap and eyebolt on to the rear die plate, remove all bolts, then using a back and forth motion on each side evenly until rear die plate breaks loose from die, and then pull the rear plate off and set aside. (Picture 2.1)

Assemble the die pusher apparatus on the back of the die. (Picture 2.2)

Unplug all inner heater bands and thermocouple wires from the control panel and place inside the rear end of the die.
Unplug all the outer wall heater band and thermocouple wires from the control panel and pull thru die stand and secure to die.
Attach rigging block to the overhead crane with chain hoist with 6 ft chain mail strap attach to chain hoist on one side and 13 ft chain mail strap on the other side. (Picture 2.3)

Attach 6ft chain mail – chain hoist side to the front of the die, then place 13 ft chain mail strap side over the rear of the die
Remove all bolts from front plate on die stand.
Loosen all bolts used for tube adjustment. (Loosen at least five full rotations)
Start pushing the die out using an impact gun to turn the pusher apparatus.
Once die stand front plate has enough space between it and the stand, attach the chain mail strap behind the plate. (Picture 2.4)

Using the crane and the chain hoist, even the tension on both sides.
Continue to push the die until it comes free of the stand. Using the crane to make sure that the die stays level
Clean the die stand of all debris from previous production. It is vital to have a clean mating surface so as not to have any leaks on the next run
Clean all material residue off rear of die while the material is still hot and pliable.
