48 & 60 Die & Cool Plug Installation

What: A checklist to install the die and cool plug for 48” & 60”

When: During diameter change

Why Use: To create a consistent process that covers necessary checks to ensure a speedy start-up

Keys: Install new gaskets & O-rings at every diameter change

Installation Steps

• Use the same steps as you would for 30, 36, and 42” die.

Specific Notes for the 48 and 60”

• When you go back to 60 you have to extend the carriers by putting the long blocks back in place on the take up end of the corrugator after removing the shorter ones.
• Then add one carrier top and bottom.
