Bell Spigot Processing Issues

Things to Consider

  • Have someone within the Corma organization question the Corma technicians for additional information – what have other double layer producers experienced and how have they solved their issues. The Engineering department may also have additional information.
  • Are there any new processing developments that may help relieve some of the issues? Any new developments with the Pulsating Corrugator that may help?
  • Repositioning the 1st stage calipers closer to the 2nd stage calipers OR providing more space between both sets of calipers.
  • Double step bell – Does anyone produce a double stepped bell? Would this aide in vacuum forming the bell outer wall prior to laying in the inner wall?
  • Should our vacuum pump be cycled on/off electronically OR should a mechanical valve be used to protect the pump?
