Heater Bands: Pre-Heat check list

COOL PLUG VACUUM:

1. Verify the cool plug gasket is properly installed and seated
   1. For this system to work correctly this must be done!
2. Verify the air lines are properly installed and connected 0
   1. For this system to work correctly this must be done!
3. Verify the vacuum pump cool plug unit has been maintained according to the schedule. Inspect vacuum pump cool plug unit, clean air filter, & fill the unit with oil.
4. Clean the three rubber diaphragms for the cool plug vacuum Asco valves.
5. Verify the functionality of the cool plug vacuum by performing the following with the corrugator mold blocks positioned in the pipe forming zone:
   1. Turn off all three cool plug vacuum zones on the corrugator touch screen and ensure no cool plug suction is occurring at each of the three cool plug ports
   2. Individually cycle each cool plug zone on and test for proper vacuum gauge readouts.

Caution: Do not turn the Extruder master speed control during any procedure! All four machines have a master speed control (the potentiometer); do not touch!
